Wow! How wonderful to be at Holy Spirit. It has been a wonderful first year. Thank you for all of your
patience, prayers and help in my orientation. I have been your Pastor, and being your Pastor keeps me getting
better – your love and compassion is amazing.

Watching all of you, sincerely engaged in various ministries be it keeping the grounds and the church clean or
making sure the smooth flow of the liturgical celebrations or be it educating the hearts of our children and the
adults or be it serving the neighbor was truly amazing, compassionate and absolutely beautiful. Starting this
week there will be a section of the bulletin devoted to recognizing parishioners who exemplify
STEWARDSHIP IN ACTION. Well done good and faithful servants of Christ!

How blessed are we to have a wonderful Principal and staff in our school and an outstanding group of staff and
volunteers in the Parish!

Your reverence and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament truly helped me to dive deeper into the Sacred Heart
of Jesus. Your praying of the Holy Rosary before every Mass comforted me with loving hugs from our
heavenly Mother. Keep the prayers coming! I am so grateful to Bishop Felipe for entrusting me to be your
Pastor. I love you all deeply and I thank God for all of you. If you would like to know more about me call me
email me or set an appointment, let us talk.

I hope to write every week and share my distinct Salesian Spirituality with you. “Salesian Spirituality”
developed out of the life and teachings of St. Francis de Sales. It was developed out of De Sales’ experience as
bishop of a small diocese and advisor to a wide variety of people who were interested in living out their faith
in their daily lives. Most of his advice was given through letters of spiritual direction written in his spare time
that were later collected and published in his classic work, “Introduction to the Devout Life”. They continue to
guide all those seeking to live out their baptismal commitment by “living Jesus” in all aspects of their life.
Thank you for accepting and embracing me as member of your family.

God Bless you all.

“Great occasions for serving God come seldom, but little ones surround us daily.” (Saint Francis de Sales)
